Morgan Barkhurst is pursuing a career as a Creative Technologist in themed entertainment. She worked as a show set design intern at Nassal, a design and fabrication firm, redlining Revit drawing packages. In collaboration with TEA@UCF, she serves as the Show Controls Lead, involved in the design, build, and operations of the organization's yearly escape rooms. In addition to her creative endeavors, she interned at the NASA Marshall Space Flight Center designing a lunar habitat for astronauts. She also published her own research on graphene’s application on solar sail materials with the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. She is currently earning her BFA in Theatrical Design and Technology at the University of Central Florida.
